Heartbroken by her beloved grandmother's death, Catherine cherished the tattered heirloom quilt her grandmother left. Every year, during the Christmas season, Catherine's husband retrieved the box holding Grandy's quilt from the attic and carefully placed the box where Catherine and their three children could open it and ponder the future of the frayed masterpiece. ABOUT THE QUILT PATTERNS

These patterns for heirloom stockings, mittens and angels were inspired by three small children whose desire was to create the best Christmas ever.  Their imagination and creativity coupled with memories of a beloved grandmother and a new found friend were the inspiration behind the heartwarming story of: Grandy's Quilt...A Gift for All Seasons.

Thanks to the overwhelming response to the book and the demand for the patterns, the heirloom collection was created by Jennifer Gullekson (Mrs. Olson), the actual master quilter in Grandy's Quilt.
